Evaluate your IoT use case
Defining your strategy is only the first step to value realization with IoT. What steps do you need to bring your use case to life? With this offer, you’ll be guided through a series of workshops to evaluate your IoT use case and gain a clear vision and implementation approach for future use cases.
What can I expect?
This is a time-boxed activity lasting eight days. During this time, you will work with a solution architect and UX designer to evaluate the implementation of a minimum viable product (MVP) for a selected use case using Cumulocity.
Note: To determine the most appropriate delivery approach, a one-hour discovery call is initiated prior to a confirmed engagement.
How does it work?

First, the Cumulocity consultant facilitates an Ideation workshop to help you outline the scope of work for your selected use case including main user stories, personas, and customer journey.

Next, the consultant will conduct a workshop to define the requirements for the scope of work.

Once the requirements are gathered, the consultant will work with you to define the business and solution architecture for the selected use case; this includes identifying the device type required for the use case and proposing/researching suitable partner devices from the device partner portal.

Additionally, the consultant will provide a high-level solution architecture to review the recommended implementation approach.

With the approved solution architecture, the consultant facilitates an Evaluation workshop with recommendations on the implementation approach. This includes:
- Requirements/mandate
- Device connectivity (based on customer’s proposed devices)
- Development evaluation including customized components (UI, Backend, Analytics, etc.)

Finally, at the end of the engagement, you will work with the consultant to document and define the Statement of Work (SoW) document.
What will I gain?
With this offer, you will:
- Identify user stories, personas, and customer journey for your selected use case.
- Evaluate devices, device integration, and device management necessary to implement your use case.
- Assess and define requirements for user interface (UI), dashboards, Cumulocity Core, analytics, and integration.
- Evaluate any requirements for condition monitoring, if applicable.
- Document your findings to calculate fixed pricing.
