Singapore, 6 August, 2025 – Cumulocity, a global IIoT (Industrial IoT) pioneer, and Telstra, APAC’s foremost connectivity and solutions provider, today announced a three-year renewal of their strategic reseller partnership. The agreement replaces Telstra’s on-premise deployment with a dedicated, vendor-managed instance of Cumulocity’s cloud-native IoT platform, unlocking new levels of scalability, agility and AI-driven innovation for enterprise customers.

Over the past ten years, the partnership has enabled Telstra to seamlessly manage over half-a-million IoT devices, primarily serving enterprise customers, particularly in the utilities sector. With this renewal, Cumulocity transitions Telstra to a fully cloud-native, vendor-managed platform model, empowering greater agility, enhanced analytics capabilities – including Digital Twin services and streaming analytics – and improved value at scale.
The partnership’s extension is aligned with Telstra’s recently launched “Connected Future 2030” strategy, which outlines the evolution toward a Network-as-a-Product business model. Together, Cumulocity and Telstra aim to accelerate innovation, jointly deliver enterprise-grade support, and bring best-in-class IoT offerings to a growing customer base. This includes industry-specific applications and streamlined service delivery, enhanced by Cumulocity’s global expertise and Telstra’s trusted local presence.
“This renewed partnership marks a significant milestone in our journey together towards innovation and excellence for our enterprise customers. By leveraging our combined strengths, we are better equipped than ever to provide secure, scalable, and resilient IoT solutions as we drive forward to a connected future,” said Julieanne Pritchett, the Head of Enterprise IoT at Telstra.
Highlighting the strategic value of the collaboration, Bernd Groß, CEO of Cumulocity, commented, “This extension is not just a continuation, it’s a launchpad for the next phase of growth. We’re proud to support Telstra’s Connected Future vision and excited to bring advanced IoT capabilities to life for customers across APAC and beyond. The strength of this partnership demonstrates the rising global demand for agile, AI-enhanced IoT platforms that deliver real-world results.”
One standout example includes South East Water in Australia, which utilized the ´ solution for complex, high-scale device and data management – underscoring the platform’s versatility and impact.
As the IoT landscape continues to evolve, the renewed Cumulocity-Telstra alliance is poised to set new benchmarks for enterprise-grade innovation, customer value, and operational excellence.
