A few months ago, I was on a call with one of our partners who had just returned from a large construction site in Dubai. They were implementing a worker safety system, and the site manager had walked them through their setup-RFID tags clipped to every hard hat, sensors detecting man-down situations, geofencing alerts when someone entered a hazardous zone. Impressive technology, yet the site manager, my partner told me, seemed frustrated.
